The Director of Technology and Audiovisual Services leads the planning, organization, integration, implementation, maintenance, security, and daily operation of all technology and audiovisual systems across the campus. This role ensures reliable IT infrastructure, classroom technology integration, event AV support, cybersecurity compliance, and strategic innovation that enhances teaching, learning, communication, and school operations.
The Director supervises technology staff, manages vendors and budgets, supports faculty and students, and develops long-term technology initiatives aligned with the school’s educational mission.
Success will require the Director of Technology & Audiovisual Services to work collaboratively with the Mount de Sales Academy community, have outstanding tactful written and oral communication skills, and maintain a faith-?lled, professional demeanor.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Information Technology Leadership
- Develop and execute the school’s technology strategy and annual IT
- Oversee all network infrastructure, wireless systems, servers, cloud services, databases, and endpoint devices.
- Manage cybersecurity practices including ?rewalls, access control, MFA, backups, endpoint protection, and incident response.
- Administer user accounts, identity management, permissions, and directory services including quarterly account and access level reviews of all technology
- Ensure compliance with student data privacy regulations (FERPA) and school technology policies.
- Maintain disaster recovery and business continuity
- Evaluate and implement new technologies to support academic and administrative goals and objectives.
- Develop strategic and long-range technology plans for the school, including proposals and projects for improving IT solutions across the campus.
- Oversee, install and maintain inventory of all hardware, including personal computing (laptops, desktops, tablets, etc.) classroom technology (projectors, document cameras, ), printers/copiers, network devices, and other technology equipment.

Audiovisual Services Management

- Supervise installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of AV
- Develop standards for classroom technology and AV
- Train staff and faculty on proper use of AV systems and presentation
Staff & User Support
- Supervise IT support specialists, AV technicians, and student tech
- Establish help desk procedures and service-level
- Provide professional development and technology training for faculty, staff and

Required
- Must be able to pass a background
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Educational Technology, or related ?eld.
- 5+ years of progressive IT
- 2+ years of leadership or supervisory
- Experience managing enterprise networks, cloud platforms, and endpoint
- Knowledge of audiovisual systems, livestreaming, and event production
- Strong troubleshooting, project management, and communication
- Ability to work evenings or weekends during school events as
